Forgive us if we prefer the idea of “friends we haven’t met yet” over the word “strangers.” So, we were sitting around some friends we hadn’t met yet, when one of them asked, “So what is it you do over at this eTags place, huh?”

Well. Any dedicated reader of this blog can just imagine how chuffed we were to share with some new folks what is that we do here. It’s like our most prized topic of discussion. Along with all the things we talk about here on the blog, (trends, checklists, rules and regulations, how-to’s) maybe our other favorite subject is how we can help. Let’s just say we like to walk our talk, right?
So with that in mind, we thought we’d do a quick little rundown of what we do at eTags and how we could possibly be of service to you. Because we’re hanging out here with our fingers crossed that some of these “friends we haven’t met yet” have followed our suggestion to come check out our site and our blog.

Now, down to business. What do we do?
At eTags, we take most of the automotive tasks for which you’d need to make an appointment at your local DMV, and instead of having you spend all that time in line, we help you get them done online. What, you ask? Is this true, you wonder? Yes. And Yes!
Let’s say you just bought a vehicle (car, truck, SUV, motorcycle, RV, EV, trailer, etc) through a casual sale. Or maybe you were just gifted said vehicle. Could be you somehow inherited your new ride and need to transfer the title from the seller (previous owner) to you. Well, we can do this. It does not matter if the title comes from another state, from your weird uncle, or from a total stranger. (Ahem, we mean, friend you haven’t met yet.). We can help transfer ownership of the vehicle from one person to another. (Or from two owners to one owner, from one owner to two – we know how to get this done too!)
If in this process you find yourself lost and confused in the land of signatures, dates, and odometer readings, we can help.
If you are stuck on something like dual ownership or the addition or removal of an owner on a title, we’ve got your back. If you need to know whether or not your transfer requires notarization, we can tell you. Basically, almost anything you’d want to get done concerning the signing over of a vehicle title is up our alley.
Let’s say you lost your title. Or let’s say the person selling the vehicle lost his title and can’t make the sale without the document. You will need a duplicate title. Well, okay, we can get that done for you!
What if you spilled your morning coffee on your title? Or what if your new kitten used your title as a scratching post? Well, we can get you a replacement. How cool is that?
Now, what about registrations, you ask? Well, we do those too. If you’re in need of a new tag for your vehicle, this is something we can make happen. If your plate somehow got stolen or damaged – we’re on it. If you’re transferring a license plate you already have to a new vehicle – that’s in our repertoire. If you’ve got your license plate and your registration is about to expire, we can also facilitate your renewal.
Not only do we work with physical plates and registration cards, but in some states, we provide window stickers as well. And if your state allows for them, we also provide an eTag in the interim to cover you in the time between ordering and receiving your new plate.
And in case that’s not enough to knock your socks off, there is this: in the state of Florida we can also offer you the option of an upgrade to a Specialty Plate. Florida offers over one hundred different designs to choose from, each motif representing not only a theme you’re really into, but also a charity that benefits from your purchase of the Specialty Plate.
And, AND, you can personalize that Specialty Plate as well. Which is basically having All your cake and eating it too. Good deal, right?
