Close to 40 million people call California home. The Golden State is one of the most geographically diverse state: bountiful farmlands, sweeping valleys, rugged mountain ranges, vast deserts, lush forests, and great weather year-round. This diversity is precisely what makes CA so desirable for dirt bike riders. In fact, the first recorded dirt bike race took place in 1924 in a California desert organized by the American Motocross Association.
