At times, these ‘things’ aren’t as relevant as other most important aspects about driving, but they could save the day to say the least.
Though we are not encouraging you, by any means, to enroll at a driving school to find out more about them. You simply won’t be successful.
From parking hassles to beeping, stay tuned with stuff you won’t believe is real.
Below we grouped 5 things to know about driving you won’t believe are true. Be prepared to take notes and enjoy the ride.
#1 The implicit rule of parking
What happens when two vehicles meet each other simultaneously at a car park?
It may be hard to tell who arrived first or who should take the spot when the parking spot is busy.
But if you’ve got your indicators on, then the spot is all yours. But what if both of you have them on? Then we cannot help you with that.
#2 Hide items in your car
We are definitely not encouraging you to play hide and seek with your mates and family. But a vehicle makes the perfect temporary shelter.
You could keep valuable items or even birthday/anniversary gifts in your trunk, which is a creative way to keep stuff far from nosey people.
As long as you remember where in your car you hide your items, you’ll be safe.
#3 Sing like in the shower
Many of us use the shower to pretend we are great singers. It’s the only chance you can belt out your favorite song without feeling bad for singing out of tune.
In such case, why don’t you try singing in your car? You don’t need to worry about the audience, especially when solo-driving.
But think twice if you are carrying passengers. They may not really appreciate your tune.
#4 Mind the beeping
Beeping at you. Beeping at them. Beeping at each other. What’s the secret about beeping?
If a driver sounds their horn at you, there is no other way you can battle it. Just take a deep breath and carry on driving.
But if you hear a short beep, someone you know has spotted you and wants to say hi. Otherwise, you are just blocking traffic or endangering others. Watch out!
#5 Your mum won’t trust you
You could even be the best driver in town. Your skills may reflect how much you care for your safety while on the road.
Yet your mother won’t trust your driving skills. Instead, she may remind you about directions and maneuvers you already planned way ahead of time.
A good advice is to turn the radio to keep her engaged with pleasant music while you take care of the rest.
Driving can be fun but there are things about driving you cannot simply ignore. If you know any other thing that should be added to the list, please let us know in the comments below.
