Buy-here-pay here dealer in Miami, title not issued?
eTags Title and Registration Company
My husband paid off a car to a buy-here-pay here dealer in Miami, FL last month, but the title still shows a lien on it and the dealer has been giving him the run around and has not given him the title or removed the lien. What can we do in this case?

We are sorry to hear that you are experiencing that. If the lien has not been cleared from the previous owners with clear title issued, we assume that means you have not been able to get the permanent plates/registration. In most states, whomever holds the title controls what can be done with the vehicle. Until the company you purchased it from can provide you a clear title or register the car on your behalf, you will need to continue contacting them to get the issued resolved. If they haven't already, they should be able to provide you with temporary tags so that you can drive the vehicle. You might also want to seek legal counsel. Best of luck.
